Practical Grant and Donor Reporting
Finance and Accounting|3 days|Classroom or live online
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through financial modelling and financial statement preparation on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: boards increasingly expect finance to explain the business, not only report on it, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with audit readiness, working capital management and internal controls in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where audit readiness is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against IFRS for SMEs
- Take ownership of working capital management rather than escalating it
- Make a decision about internal controls without waiting for a specialist
- Bring cost allocation into line with current good practice
