Practical Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through occupational hygiene and toolbox talks on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with permit to work systems, root cause analysis and contractor safety management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where permit to work systems is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against ISO 45001
- Put root cause analysis on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Take ownership of contractor safety management rather than escalating it
- Bring safety culture into line with current good practice
