Practical Laboratory Accreditation
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through laboratory design and data integrity on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: quality managers are often appointed from the bench without management training, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with measurement uncertainty, sample handling and chain of custody and reagent management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain measurement uncertainty to someone who does not do the work, measured against ISO 9001
- Take ownership of sample handling and chain of custody rather than escalating it
- Review reagent management and say plainly whether it is working
- Improve accreditation preparation within their own organisation
