Practical Laboratory Quality Management
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through quality management systems and method validation on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: quality managers are often appointed from the bench without management training, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with technical record keeping, corrective and preventive action and laboratory design in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review technical record keeping and say plainly whether it is working, measured against ISO 9001
- Explain corrective and preventive action to someone who does not do the work
- Spot where laboratory design is failing before it becomes a finding
- Bring laboratory safety into line with current good practice
