Practical Occupational Hygiene

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through working at height and root cause analysis on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with confined space entry, legal appointments and duties and occupational hygiene in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Put confined space entry on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against ISO 45001
  • Improve legal appointments and duties within their own organisation
  • Spot where occupational hygiene is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Review environmental impact assessment and say plainly whether it is working
