Practical Project Documentation
Project Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through scope definition and lessons learned on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: most project failure is visible in the schedule long before it is admitted in the status report, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with portfolio prioritisation, stakeholder communication and quality assurance in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve portfolio prioritisation within their own organisation, measured against PRINCE2
- Review stakeholder communication and say plainly whether it is working
- Take ownership of quality assurance rather than escalating it
- Make a decision about agile and scrum practice without waiting for a specialist
