Practical Safety Management Systems
Health, Safety and Environment|3 days|Classroom or live online
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through safety culture and risk assessment on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with safety auditing, emergency preparedness and legal appointments and duties in their own organisation.

- Take ownership of safety auditing rather than escalating it, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Review emergency preparedness and say plainly whether it is working
- Spot where legal appointments and duties is failing before it becomes a finding
