Practical Sample Management

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through root cause analysis and supplier qualification on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with reagent management, method validation and non-conformance management in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Explain reagent management to someone who does not do the work, measured against SANAS accreditation requirements
  • Put method validation on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
  • Bring non-conformance management into line with current good practice
  • Improve measurement uncertainty within their own organisation
