Practical Technical Record Keeping

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through sample handling and chain of custody and internal auditing on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with document control, measurement uncertainty and root cause analysis in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Review document control and say plainly whether it is working, measured against ISO 17025
  • Spot where measurement uncertainty is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Take ownership of root cause analysis rather than escalating it
  • Put laboratory safety on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
