Practical Waste Management
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through safety auditing and root cause analysis on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with occupational hygiene, risk assessment and incident investigation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where occupational hygiene is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Review risk assessment and say plainly whether it is working
- Take ownership of incident investigation rather than escalating it
- Make a decision about emergency preparedness without waiting for a specialist
