Press Office Management: Tools and Techniques

Communications and Public Relations|3 days|Classroom or live online

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through investor communication and community engagement on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: internal communication failures surface later as engagement and retention problems, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with issues management, brand positioning and interview technique in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Spot where issues management is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against established corporate communication practice
  • Bring brand positioning into line with current good practice
  • Improve interview technique within their own organisation
  • Explain crisis communication to someone who does not do the work
