Procurement Fraud Prevention: Tools and Techniques

Procurement and Supply Chain|3 days|Classroom or live online

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through spend analysis and inventory optimisation on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: category spend is one of the few remaining places to find margin without cutting headcount, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with supplier performance measurement, bid adjudication and supply risk assessment in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Improve supplier performance measurement within their own organisation, measured against the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act
  • Spot where bid adjudication is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Review supply risk assessment and say plainly whether it is working
  • Make a decision about strategic sourcing without waiting for a specialist
