Project Documentation for Non-Specialists
Project Management|2 days|Classroom or live online
Project Documentation for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through project closure and critical path analysis without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because the coordination layer is usually the least trained and the most load bearing, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with agile and scrum practice, change control and work breakdown structure in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put agile and scrum practice on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against the PMBOK guide
- Spot where change control is failing before it becomes a finding
- Improve work breakdown structure within their own organisation
- Take ownership of scope definition rather than escalating it
