Project Scheduling for Managers
Project Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers change control and scope definition from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because the coordination layer is usually the least trained and the most load bearing, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with benefits realisation, earned value management and project reporting in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where benefits realisation is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against PRINCE2
- Review earned value management and say plainly whether it is working
- Put project reporting on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Explain project initiation to someone who does not do the work
