Public Sector Ethics Investigations Reporting and Analytics
Public Sector and Municipal Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
Public Sector Ethics Investigations Reporting and Analytics focuses on the measurement layer: what to count, what it means and how to present it. Delegates work through asset management and ethics in the public service and the reporting built on top of them. The reporting layer matters because officials are held personally accountable under legislation many have never been trained on. Delegates leave able to work confidently with integrated development planning, public finance management and service delivery planning in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain integrated development planning to someone who does not do the work, measured against the PFMA
- Make a decision about public finance management without waiting for a specialist
- Take ownership of service delivery planning rather than escalating it
- Bring irregular expenditure into line with current good practice
