Records Management: Tools and Techniques
Public Sector and Municipal Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through integrated development planning and annual reporting on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: officials are held personally accountable under legislation many have never been trained on, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with records management, supply chain compliance in government and municipal budgeting in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review records management and say plainly whether it is working, measured against the Batho Pele principles
- Make a decision about supply chain compliance in government without waiting for a specialist
- Bring municipal budgeting into line with current good practice
- Improve intergovernmental relations within their own organisation
