Regulatory Compliance: Tools and Techniques

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through legal risk assessment and data protection under POPIA on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: regulators have moved from guidance to enforcement across several sectors, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with contract drafting, employment law and contract interpretation in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Put contract drafting on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against King IV
  • Take ownership of employment law rather than escalating it
  • Spot where contract interpretation is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Review service level agreements and say plainly whether it is working
