Renewable Energy Integration: Tools and Techniques
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through load flow analysis and motor control centres on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: electrical incidents are among the few workplace risks that are immediately fatal, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with electrical safety procedure, switchgear maintenance and lockout and tagout in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put electrical safety procedure on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against recognised arc flash assessment practice
- Spot where switchgear maintenance is failing before it becomes a finding
- Improve lockout and tagout within their own organisation
- Review transformer maintenance and say plainly whether it is working
