Renewable Energy Integration
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This Renewable Energy Integration programme gives delegates a working command of earthing and bonding and electrical safety procedure, grounded in the SANS wiring code. Organisations invest here because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission. Delegates leave able to work confidently with arc flash assessment, circuit breaker operation and cable fault location in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of arc flash assessment rather than escalating it, measured against the SANS wiring code
- Improve circuit breaker operation within their own organisation
- Spot where cable fault location is failing before it becomes a finding
- Bring lockout and tagout into line with current good practice
What the course covers
- Earthing and bonding
- Electrical safety procedure
- Arc flash assessment
- Circuit breaker operation
- Cable fault location
- Lockout and tagout
- Power factor correction
