Revenue Management in the Public Sector
Public Sector and Municipal Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
Revenue Management in the Public Sector takes the discipline and works it through the constraints of this operating context, including asset management, public finance management and the compliance obligations that come with it. The sector framing is necessary because service delivery failures usually trace back to planning rather than to budget, and generic training rarely survives contact with the local rules. Delegates leave able to work confidently with grant management, consequence management and irregular expenditure in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put grant management on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against the Municipal Systems Act
- Improve consequence management within their own organisation
- Spot where irregular expenditure is failing before it becomes a finding
- Bring revenue management into line with current good practice
