Revenue Recognition Reporting and Analytics
Finance and Accounting|3 days|Classroom or live online
Revenue Recognition Reporting and Analytics focuses on the measurement layer: what to count, what it means and how to present it. Delegates work through cash flow forecasting and internal controls and the reporting built on top of them. The reporting layer matters because reporting standards keep moving and finance teams carry the consequence of getting them wrong. Delegates leave able to work confidently with impairment testing, financial instruments and management accounting in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring impairment testing into line with current good practice, measured against IFRS
- Make a decision about financial instruments without waiting for a specialist
- Put management accounting on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Explain revenue recognition to someone who does not do the work
