Risk Reporting in the Public Sector
Risk and Compliance|3 days|Classroom or live online
Risk Reporting in the Public Sector takes the discipline and works it through the constraints of this operating context, including risk reporting to the board, risk assessment methodology and the compliance obligations that come with it. The sector framing is necessary because compliance obligations have multiplied faster than compliance capacity, and generic training rarely survives contact with the local rules. Delegates leave able to work confidently with risk culture, risk appetite and tolerance and crisis management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put risk culture on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against ISO 31000
- Explain risk appetite and tolerance to someone who does not do the work
- Make a decision about crisis management without waiting for a specialist
- Review combined assurance and say plainly whether it is working
