Root Cause Analysis: Tools and Techniques
Laboratory and Quality Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through technical record keeping and sample handling and chain of custody on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with laboratory design, corrective and preventive action and reagent management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring laboratory design into line with current good practice, measured against SANAS accreditation requirements
- Improve corrective and preventive action within their own organisation
- Explain reagent management to someone who does not do the work
- Put non-conformance management on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
