Safety Auditing in the Public Sector
Health, Safety and Environment|3 days|Classroom or live online
Safety Auditing in the Public Sector takes the discipline and works it through the constraints of this operating context, including safety management systems, occupational hygiene and the compliance obligations that come with it. The sector framing is necessary because environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals, and generic training rarely survives contact with the local rules. Delegates leave able to work confidently with safety auditing, risk assessment and incident investigation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of safety auditing rather than escalating it, measured against ISO 45001
- Review risk assessment and say plainly whether it is working
- Improve incident investigation within their own organisation
- Make a decision about permit to work systems without waiting for a specialist
