Safety Auditing: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through personal protective equipment and legal appointments and duties on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: safety systems are often documented to a standard that daily practice does not match, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with safety management systems, working at height and hazard identification in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring safety management systems into line with current good practice, measured against ISO 14001
- Explain working at height to someone who does not do the work
- Spot where hazard identification is failing before it becomes a finding
- Improve root cause analysis within their own organisation
