Sample Management for Managers

3 days|Delivered on request

This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers internal auditing and quality management systems from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because quality managers are often appointed from the bench without management training, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with supplier qualification, non-conformance management and laboratory design in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Improve supplier qualification within their own organisation, measured against ISO 17025
  • Explain non-conformance management to someone who does not do the work
  • Review laboratory design and say plainly whether it is working
  • Put proficiency testing on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
