Sample Management: Tools and Techniques

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through document control and technical record keeping on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: quality managers are often appointed from the bench without management training, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with equipment calibration, sample handling and chain of custody and reagent management in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Put equipment calibration on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against SANAS accreditation requirements
  • Take ownership of sample handling and chain of custody rather than escalating it
  • Spot where reagent management is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Make a decision about non-conformance management without waiting for a specialist
