Stakeholder Engagement for Non-Specialists
Communications and Public Relations|2 days|Classroom or live online
Stakeholder Engagement for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through reputation measurement and communication auditing without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because internal communication failures surface later as engagement and retention problems, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with press release writing, stakeholder mapping and internal communication in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where press release writing is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against recognised crisis communication protocols
- Put stakeholder mapping on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Take ownership of internal communication rather than escalating it
- Review social media strategy and say plainly whether it is working
