Stakeholder Engagement in the Public Sector
Communications and Public Relations|3 days|Classroom or live online
Stakeholder Engagement in the Public Sector takes the discipline and works it through the constraints of this operating context, including message development, spokesperson training and the compliance obligations that come with it. The sector framing is necessary because spokespeople are frequently appointed without ever having been trained, and generic training rarely survives contact with the local rules. Delegates leave able to work confidently with communication auditing, speech writing and community engagement in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of communication auditing rather than escalating it, measured against established corporate communication practice
- Review speech writing and say plainly whether it is working
- Explain community engagement to someone who does not do the work
- Improve investor communication within their own organisation
