Statistical Analysis for Non-Specialists
Data and Business Intelligence|2 days|Classroom or live online
Statistical Analysis for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through SQL querying and data modelling without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because most organisations have more dashboards than decisions that depend on them, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with storytelling with data, scenario modelling and dashboard design in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain storytelling with data to someone who does not do the work, measured against established visualisation principles
- Bring scenario modelling into line with current good practice
- Put dashboard design on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Spot where forecasting techniques is failing before it becomes a finding
