Strategic Bid Committee Procedure
Public Sector and Municipal Management|5 days|Classroom or live online
Strategic Bid Committee Procedure looks at this work from the level at which it is resourced and defended. The focus is on integrated development planning, performance management in government and how both connect to what the organisation is actually trying to achieve. This matters at the strategic level because service delivery failures usually trace back to planning rather than to budget. Delegates leave able to work confidently with ethics in the public service, asset management and records management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain ethics in the public service to someone who does not do the work, measured against the Municipal Systems Act
- Review asset management and say plainly whether it is working
- Improve records management within their own organisation
- Bring grant management into line with current good practice
