Strategic Combined Assurance looks at this work from the level at which it is resourced and defended. The focus is on control design, crisis management and how both connect to what the organisation is actually trying to achieve. This matters at the strategic level because risk registers are widely maintained and rarely used in an actual decision. Delegates leave able to work confidently with risk assessment methodology, internal audit interface and risk appetite and tolerance in their own organisation.
