Strategic Condition Monitoring
Electrical and Power Engineering|5 days|Classroom or live online
Strategic Condition Monitoring looks at this work from the level at which it is resourced and defended. The focus is on motor control centres, switchgear maintenance and how both connect to what the organisation is actually trying to achieve. This matters at the strategic level because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission. Delegates leave able to work confidently with cable fault location, condition monitoring and lockout and tagout in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain cable fault location to someone who does not do the work, measured against IEC standards
- Take ownership of condition monitoring rather than escalating it
- Put lockout and tagout on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Bring load flow analysis into line with current good practice
