Strategic Energy Efficiency Management
Electrical and Power Engineering|5 days|Classroom or live online
Strategic Energy Efficiency Management looks at this work from the level at which it is resourced and defended. The focus is on power factor correction, condition monitoring and how both connect to what the organisation is actually trying to achieve. This matters at the strategic level because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for. Delegates leave able to work confidently with electrical fault analysis, standby generation and earthing and bonding in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring electrical fault analysis into line with current good practice, measured against the SANS wiring code
- Improve standby generation within their own organisation
- Spot where earthing and bonding is failing before it becomes a finding
- Make a decision about electrical safety procedure without waiting for a specialist
