Strategic Equipment Calibration
Laboratory and Quality Management|5 days|Classroom or live online
Strategic Equipment Calibration looks at this work from the level at which it is resourced and defended. The focus is on laboratory safety, proficiency testing and how both connect to what the organisation is actually trying to achieve. This matters at the strategic level because an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does. Delegates leave able to work confidently with sample handling and chain of custody, document control and internal auditing in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain sample handling and chain of custody to someone who does not do the work, measured against ISO 9001
- Review document control and say plainly whether it is working
- Bring internal auditing into line with current good practice
- Make a decision about laboratory design without waiting for a specialist
