Strategic Grant and Donor Reporting
Finance and Accounting|5 days|Classroom or live online
Strategic Grant and Donor Reporting looks at this work from the level at which it is resourced and defended. The focus is on working capital management, lease accounting and how both connect to what the organisation is actually trying to achieve. This matters at the strategic level because boards increasingly expect finance to explain the business, not only report on it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with cost allocation, budgeting and variance analysis and financial modelling in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where cost allocation is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against IFRS
- Put budgeting and variance analysis on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Explain financial modelling to someone who does not do the work
- Take ownership of management accounting rather than escalating it
