Strategic Laboratory Safety
Laboratory and Quality Management|5 days|Classroom or live online
Strategic Laboratory Safety looks at this work from the level at which it is resourced and defended. The focus is on method validation, equipment calibration and how both connect to what the organisation is actually trying to achieve. This matters at the strategic level because an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does. Delegates leave able to work confidently with root cause analysis, quality management systems and reagent management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve root cause analysis within their own organisation, measured against good laboratory practice
- Put quality management systems on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Make a decision about reagent management without waiting for a specialist
- Explain supplier qualification to someone who does not do the work
