Strategic Occupational Health and Safety looks at this work from the level at which it is resourced and defended. The focus is on occupational hygiene, legal appointments and duties and how both connect to what the organisation is actually trying to achieve. This matters at the strategic level because safety systems are often documented to a standard that daily practice does not match. Delegates leave able to work confidently with permit to work systems, safety culture and emergency preparedness in their own organisation.
