Strategic Permit to Work Systems looks at this work from the level at which it is resourced and defended. The focus is on emergency preparedness, occupational hygiene and how both connect to what the organisation is actually trying to achieve. This matters at the strategic level because incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause. Delegates leave able to work confidently with toolbox talks, safety management systems and environmental impact assessment in their own organisation.
