Strategic Safety Leadership looks at this work from the level at which it is resourced and defended. The focus is on incident investigation, environmental impact assessment and how both connect to what the organisation is actually trying to achieve. This matters at the strategic level because safety systems are often documented to a standard that daily practice does not match. Delegates leave able to work confidently with emergency preparedness, permit to work systems and legal appointments and duties in their own organisation.
