Strategic Stakeholder Engagement
Communications and Public Relations|5 days|Classroom or live online
Strategic Stakeholder Engagement looks at this work from the level at which it is resourced and defended. The focus is on social media strategy, campaign planning and how both connect to what the organisation is actually trying to achieve. This matters at the strategic level because spokespeople are frequently appointed without ever having been trained. Delegates leave able to work confidently with issues management, press release writing and communication auditing in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain issues management to someone who does not do the work, measured against recognised crisis communication protocols
- Review press release writing and say plainly whether it is working
- Spot where communication auditing is failing before it becomes a finding
- Put interview technique on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
