Substation Operation Reporting and Analytics
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
Substation Operation Reporting and Analytics focuses on the measurement layer: what to count, what it means and how to present it. Delegates work through electrical fault analysis and transformer maintenance and the reporting built on top of them. The reporting layer matters because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for. Delegates leave able to work confidently with protection relays, motor control centres and cable fault location in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of protection relays rather than escalating it, measured against recognised arc flash assessment practice
- Make a decision about motor control centres without waiting for a specialist
- Review cable fault location and say plainly whether it is working
- Improve condition monitoring within their own organisation
