Supplier Auditing in the Public Sector
Procurement and Supply Chain|3 days|Classroom or live online
Supplier Auditing in the Public Sector takes the discipline and works it through the constraints of this operating context, including supplier development, bid adjudication and the compliance obligations that come with it. The sector framing is necessary because procurement decisions are now audited for process as closely as for price, and generic training rarely survives contact with the local rules. Delegates leave able to work confidently with ethical sourcing, supply risk assessment and demand planning in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review ethical sourcing and say plainly whether it is working, measured against the CIPS professional standard
- Put supply risk assessment on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Spot where demand planning is failing before it becomes a finding
- Bring spend analysis into line with current good practice
