Switchgear Maintenance
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This Switchgear Maintenance programme gives delegates a working command of cable fault location and earthing and bonding, grounded in recognised arc flash assessment practice. Organisations invest here because electrical incidents are among the few workplace risks that are immediately fatal. Delegates leave able to work confidently with power factor correction, lockout and tagout and electrical fault analysis in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain power factor correction to someone who does not do the work, measured against recognised arc flash assessment practice
- Spot where lockout and tagout is failing before it becomes a finding
- Put electrical fault analysis on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Take ownership of electrical safety procedure rather than escalating it
