Technical Record Keeping in the Public Sector

Laboratory and Quality Management|3 days|Classroom or live online

Technical Record Keeping in the Public Sector takes the discipline and works it through the constraints of this operating context, including quality management systems, data integrity and the compliance obligations that come with it. The sector framing is necessary because method validation is frequently treated as paperwork rather than as evidence, and generic training rarely survives contact with the local rules. Delegates leave able to work confidently with reagent management, accreditation preparation and technical record keeping in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Bring reagent management into line with current good practice, measured against ISO 9001
  • Take ownership of accreditation preparation rather than escalating it
  • Spot where technical record keeping is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Review laboratory safety and say plainly whether it is working
