This Treasury Risk Management course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of treasury operations, liquidity management, financial risk assessment, and strategic treasury decision-making within banks and financial institutions. The program focuses on identifying, measuring, and managing treasury-related risks such as liquidity, interest rate, currency, operational, and market risks while ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and sound governance practices. Participants will learn how to apply treasury management tools and strategies including hedging, funding, stress testing, cash forecasting, capital management, and risk measurement techniques such as Value at Risk (VaR). The course also explores treasury structures, ALCO governance, funding policies, loan documentation, and the management of commodity and foreign exchange risks. Through practical case studies, interactive discussions, and hands-on activities, the course equips finance and treasury professionals with the skills needed to enhance profitability, improve decision-making, and strengthen treasury risk management practices within their organizations.
