Variable Speed Drives Reporting and Analytics
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
Variable Speed Drives Reporting and Analytics focuses on the measurement layer: what to count, what it means and how to present it. Delegates work through circuit breaker operation and arc flash assessment and the reporting built on top of them. The reporting layer matters because electrical incidents are among the few workplace risks that are immediately fatal. Delegates leave able to work confidently with cable fault location, load flow analysis and power factor correction in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review cable fault location and say plainly whether it is working, measured against recognised arc flash assessment practice
- Bring load flow analysis into line with current good practice
- Explain power factor correction to someone who does not do the work
- Take ownership of switchgear maintenance rather than escalating it
