Working at Height Masterclass

5 days|Delivered on request

This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into confined space entry, permit to work systems and the judgement calls that sit outside the Occupational Health and Safety Act. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals. Delegates leave able to work confidently with toolbox talks, occupational hygiene and safety management systems in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Explain toolbox talks to someone who does not do the work, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Spot where occupational hygiene is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Bring safety management systems into line with current good practice
  • Review emergency preparedness and say plainly whether it is working
