Working Capital Management in the Public Sector
Finance and Accounting|3 days|Classroom or live online
Working Capital Management in the Public Sector takes the discipline and works it through the constraints of this operating context, including impairment testing, capital budgeting and the compliance obligations that come with it. The sector framing is necessary because reporting standards keep moving and finance teams carry the consequence of getting them wrong, and generic training rarely survives contact with the local rules. Delegates leave able to work confidently with fraud detection, consolidation and deferred tax in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain fraud detection to someone who does not do the work, measured against the Companies Act
- Make a decision about consolidation without waiting for a specialist
- Review deferred tax and say plainly whether it is working
- Spot where audit readiness is failing before it becomes a finding
