Advanced Contractor Safety Management
5 days|Delivered on request
This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into safety auditing, safety culture and the judgement calls that sit outside the Occupational Health and Safety Act. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals. Delegates leave able to work confidently with working at height, risk assessment and emergency preparedness in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about working at height without waiting for a specialist, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Spot where risk assessment is failing before it becomes a finding
- Put emergency preparedness on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Take ownership of environmental impact assessment rather than escalating it
